These gel-based icing colours produce rich and vibrant colour finishes without affecting the consistency of your cake batter, buttercream or royal icing. You can also use it to tint white fondant and gum paste, or mix with other icing colours to create a shade that’s all your own.
We recommend adding tiny drops gradually, using the end of a cocktail stick to build up your desired shade.
These icing colours can be used for colouring: sugarpaste, flower paste, modelling paste, buttercream, royal icing, marzipan, gum pastes and more.
- Start with enough icing to cover the entire area.
- Dip a toothpick into the colour, then blend it into the icing.
- Add colour a little at a time until you achieve the shade you desire. Always use a new toothpick each time you add colour. Blend well.
